US Soccer's Grade 9, 8, 7 and 6 Courses each have an online training component in Brainshark. The individual modules are a good source of review for the LOTGs and the points-of-emphasis for each Grade. Spanish language versions of the online courses can be found at the US Soccer Resource CenterRecertification and Just-in-Time (JIT) Training materials for Iowa referees are provided separately. Online Grade 9 Referee Course:

Training for the Grade 9 Referee Course is specific to the small-sided and recreational youth game. Those wanting to become a Grade 9 Referee should complete these online modules prior to attending the Instructor-led portion of this course. The minimum age to become a Grade 9 Referee in Iowa is 12.

Online Grade 8 Referee Course:

Training for the Grade 8 Referee Course is specific to the competitive youth game. Those wanting to become a Grade 8 Referee should complete these online modules prior to attending the Instructor-led portion of this course. The minimum age to become a Grade 8 Referee in Iowa is 12.

Online Grade 7 Referee Course:

Training for the Grade 7 Referee Course is specific to the amateur adult game. Grade 8 Referees wanting to upgrade to Grade 7B (Recreational) or 7A (Competitive) must complete these online modules first. The minimum age to become a Grade 7 Referee in Iowa is 19.

Online Grade 6 State Referee Course:

Training for the Grade 6 State Referee Course is specific to the most competitive games within a state and Region. Grade 7A Referees wanting to upgrade to Grade 6 State Referee must complete these online modules first. The minimum age to become a State Referee Grade 6 in Iowa is 21.
